Vida Marie Singleton, age 80, of Pencil Bluff Arkansas left this world on Sunday April 14th, 2013. She now dances in heaven with her beloved husband Art Singleton. Vida was born in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Elmer and Hazel Hutson. After a successful career as a Manager with Awrey Bakery, she and her husband Art retired and moved back to his hometown of Pencil Bluff. She spent the remaining years of her life farming, making porcelain dolls, quilting, creating and painting pottery, crafting and bringing sunshine to everyone she met. Her colorful, talented, vivacious, loving spirit will be forever felt and eternally cherished.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy and son in law Greg Offill, her son Jeff and daughter in law YolandaSingleton, her Grandchildren Rhonda & Mike Shires, Rachelle Offill, Gary & Melissa Offill, and J.D Singleton, and great grandchildren Liliann, Jack, Miles, Trevor and Mallory. General viewing services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, April 17th & 18th at Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida. A gravesite funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 10:00am at Grenade Cemetery in Pencil Bluff.
