Mr. William David Brakefield, Jr.

William David Brakefield Jr., age 66, of Mena, passed away October 2, 2014. He was born December 10, 1947 to the late William David Brakefield Sr. and Dorthy Jean Radford. David loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He loved attending activities with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Davidwas a good Christian man who loved his church and the church family; He never went anywhere without his bible in his hand. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 3-6 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 6th at Wickes Pentecostal Church of God in Wickes, AR at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Chris Burkes officiating.
