Mrs. Hazel Norris

Hazel Norris–Morris 93, of Mount Ida, went home to be with Jesus, Sunday December 7, 2014. She was born February 2, 1921 to Bill and Ila Gee of Clayton, OK. Her father passed away soon after. Her mother Ila later married Hugh Smith and moved to Mount Ida, where he was a local Blacksmith. She always loved to go to church any time the doors were open. She always loved to sing her specials when she went to church. Mrs.Hazel was always such a caring and loving mother and worked so hard to make everyone love her.
Mrs. Hazel has 5 children- 2 Daughters: Nina Coffman of Hopper, Barbara (Carl) Coffman of Benton, 3 Sons: Billy (Lila) Norris of Jessieville, Ronald Norris of Mount Ida, and Dale (Sherrie) Morris of Story. One Brother-in-law, Richard Carr of Mount Ida. 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great- Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild, that could never visit enough. She worked at Indianapolis Glove Plant until it closed and then went on to the Montgomery County Nursing Home working until she retired.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014, 5:00-7:00p.m. at the Faith Tabernacle Church in Mount Ida. Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle Church and interment will follow at Big Fir Cemetery with Brother Paul Burke officiating. Pallbearers: Charles Coffman, P.D. Coffman, Alan Norris, Chris Coffman, Clay Coffman and Caleb Coffman. Honorary Pallbearers: Church family at Faith Tabernacle Church.
