    Ms. Jo Alice Rogers, age 87, of Oden, passed away August 1, 2015 at her home. She was born September 28, 1927 to the late Albert and Margery McPherson Law. Ms. Rogers is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jim Rogers.

    Survived by:

    Step- Daughter: Florene Wolfe of Amarillo, TX

    Sister: Zelda Beth Lang of Dalhart, TX

    Step- Grandson: Mark and Erin Wolfe of Amarillo, TX

    Step- Great– Abigail Wolfe of Amarillo, TX
    Granddaughter

    Extended Family: Jerry and Peggy Lyons, Faye Cargile, Sherri Elder and Kelli Elder

    There will be a viewing held at Thornton Funeral Home on August 3, 2015, 6-8 p.m. Services will be August 4, 2015 at Pencil Bluff Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Brother David Rouse and Brother David Birdsong officiating. Interment will follow at Pencil Bluff Cemetery. Pallbearers: Mark Wolfe, Thurston Coker, Leon Stovall, Charles Priddy, Jerry Lambert and Mitchell Lawrence. Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Lyons, Bob Fryar,West Central Arkansas Hospice and Lisa Bradley. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR.
