    Mike Lantz, age 52, of Story, AR, passed away December 19, 2015 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, AR. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Lantz SR. Mike was a family man. He lived and breathed for his wife and daughters. He was the manliest man you would ever meet whose heart was softened over the years by all of his girly girls. He had the biggest heart you could ever imagine. If you ever needed anything he would not hesitate to give it to you, even if he didn’t have whatever you needed he would find a way to help. He showed his love for you by his sarcasm and jokes. You knew he loved you most by how hard of a time he would give you.

    Wife:            Sheila Lantz of Story, AR

    Daughters: Kyrie Duchensne and husband David of Monroe, LA, Sarah Hackney and husband Josh of Mount Ida, AR and Victoria Lantz and Drew Badger of Fort Smith, AR

    Mother:    Jean Lantz of Story, AR

    Brothers:  Robert Eugene Lantz Jr. and Timothy Allen Lantz

    Sister:        Deanna Rankin

    Grandson: Easton Hackney

     

    There will be a graveside service held Tuesday, December 22, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at the Reed Cemetery with friends and family hosting. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com

    Sheila, we were so sad to hear the news about Mike. It has hit Brooks really hard. He loved and appreciated Mike so much and has such good mem'ries of all of you. It's really hurting him that he can't come. Want you to know that you're much in our thoughts and prayers.
