    George Kostelnik SR., age 86, of Mount Ida, AR, passed away June 23, 2016 at The Montgomery County Nursing Home. Mr. Kostelnik was born August 16, 1929 to the late Frank and Frances (Loucka) Kostelnik. He was a Staff Sargent in the Air Force and a Veteran of the Korean War. He received the Korean Service Metal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Metal, United Nations Service Metal and Good Conduct Metal.

    Survivors include: Wife: Ola Belle Kostelnik, Son; George Kostelnik and wife Deyon, Daughter; Dena Tabor, one Sister, Grandson; Brandon Tabor, Granddaughter; Kelli McEntire and husband Rusty, Great- Grandson; Bentley McEntire, Step-Son; Mike Moudy and wife Jane and Step-Grandson; Eric Moudy.

    There will be a Family/Friend visitation held Saturday, June 25, 2016, 1-3 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
