    Mr. Michael Joseph Jolie, age 70, of Sims, AR, passed away July 26, 2016 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one son.

    Survivors include: Wife; Linda J. Jolie, Son; Wesley Jolie, Daughter; Danielle Jolie, Granddaughter; Kate Jolie, Brother; Robert and wife Rhonda Jolie.

    Mr. Jolie was sent for cremation under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in an account at Bear State Bank in Mount Ida, AR for Mr. Jolie’s Family.

    I have had the priviledge to know Micheal for many years and have been blessed by his sharing. He always could conjure up some profound piece of knowledge regarding any subject. He spoke often of how proud he was of his children. He loved being a grandpa too! I will miss him greatly!
