Cynthia Ellen Snow

Cynthia Ellen Snow of Oden, AR, passed away at her home on June 13, 2017. She was born in Sims, AR to Jack Stovall and Lucy Wood Stovall. She graduated from Mount Ida High School and Henderson State College. She then taught school in Sims, AR and Cutter Morning Star in Hot Springs. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and a friend to many.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Talmadge Snow of 60 years, sisters, Dorothy Stovall, Drotha Gibbs, Aletha Dean Hill all of Saraland, AL, brothers, Grover Stovall of Hot Springs, AR and Bud Stovall of Sims, AR.

Survivors include: daughter, Carolyn Gilbrech (Raymond) of Fayetteville, AR, grandchildren, Erika Gilbrech of Austin, TX, nieces, Jackelyn Bailey of Saraland, AL, Donna Gartin of Hot Springs, AR, nephews, Woodie Gibbs of Ocean Springs, MS, Michael Stovall of Pencil Bluff, Matthew Stovall of Fayetteville, AR, and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Oden Methodist Church in Oden, AR with Fred Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Valley Cemetery in Sims, AR.
