James Kelly “Jim” Cole, of Mount Ida passed away September 6, 2017. He was born May 19, 1939 to Simon Peter Cole and Carrie Craig Cole in Holden, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 31 years, Mary Cole and his wife of 9 years, Sandra Cole, Brothers Bob Cole and Donnie Cole. James is survived by one son; Rick (Joyce) Cole of Mount Ida sister Mary Alice of Madras, Oregon and brother; Larry Cole of Madras, Oregon. Grandchildren: Adam Nix of Chesapeake, Virginia and Amy Becker of Bolivar, Missouri. Great grandchild: Andrew Nix of Chesapeake, Virginia, Niece Heidi Lemaire of Canandaitgua, New York and best friend Jim.
Along with being a great father and friend to all, Jim was an avid outdoorsman, living life to the fullest and a great old school mechanic, who could make anything run fast.
