  • Joe Wayne Hamilton passed away September 13, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Joe was born May 23, 1936 in Black Springs, Arkansas to the late Ernest Hamilton and Media Carter Hamilton. He is was preceded in death by, his parents Earnest and Media Hamilton, Son Robert “Robo” Hamilton, and Sisters Verna Wright and Lelamae Wright.

    Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife of 53 years Nancy Hamilton, children Rhonda Sexton (Vernon), of Ogden, Ar. Jody and Karen Hamilton of Mount Ida, Ar. and Suzanne Muldoon of Ogden, Ar. Sister Virginia Sandlin of Mount Ida, Ar. Marry Phillips of Mount Ida, Ar. Roselee Jackson of Norman, Ar. Bothers Paul Hamilton(Flo) of Mt. Pine, Ar. Dwayne Hamilton (Arvetta) of Trenton Mo. Ralph Hamilton of Norman, Ar.

    Grandchildren Amy Smiley of Mount Ida, Melissa Scissom of Russellville, Ar. Alye Muldoon of Pottsville PA. Ryan Yett of Hot Springs, Ar. Jada Hamilton of Mount Ida, Ar. Savannah Harvey of Bremerton, WA. James Hamilton of Mount Ida, Ar. Randi Carr of Mount Ida, Ar. Micheal Barrett of Hot Springs, Ar. and Seven Great grand Children, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

    There will be a memorial service held Saturday, September 23, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at The Standridge Place in Mount Ida, AR.
