Nellie Raye Young, 91, of Mount Ida, AR passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Montgomery County Nursing Home in Mount Ida, AR. Nellie was born on April 20, 1927 in Talahina, OK, to the late Tom and Ellen (McClard) Cravens. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband; Raymond T Young, and her brothers and sisters.
Nellie is survived by her son; Raymond Young, daughter; AK Adams, grandson; Mike Walloch, brother; Carl Cravens, host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life and Family Service will be held Saturday, February 09, 2019 at 5pm at the Roosevelt Auditorium in Mount Ida, Arkansas. Services under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com.
